The sound installation Acoustic Field Line was produced especially for FIMU festival by the Espace Multimédia Gantner for “Le Manège”, an old building in Belfort, one of the festival’s key venues.
The sound installation consists in 6 resonator pipes, each equipped with a loudspeaker, emitting a range of sound frequencies to excite the acoustics of the surrounding exhibition space. The 6 steel pipes form a 34 meters long line in the center of the room to create a sound field diffused in the architectural environment.
Acoustic Field Line offers the visitors an immersive and captivating sound experience listening to the acoustic reflections in the building.
