Rizhome is an electroacoustic duo by Fabrizio Fiore on live electronics and Michele Spanghero who plays acoustic bass. The time axis of this performance is developed like a non-linear rhizome able to establish connections in any direction through a free interlacement of segments, references and reflections. As a short-term memory transfigures moments that continually reappear, so the performance is based on the continuous reworking of the material through a real time sound processing to create an instant electroacoustic composition.
