Dià (from the Greek διά, “through”) is a sculpture that merges the dimensions of silence and sound. Shaped as a golden ratio double horn, the work invites spectators to listen to and observe the surrounding landscape. Its two cavities function as a megaphone or a peephole, transforming the sculpture into an interactive device that sparks an intimate dialogue between people and the surrounding environment.
The artwork debuted in 2016 on the summit of Mount Pal Piccolo on the border between Italy and Austria. In 2018, an upgraded version was showcased in the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris for the FIAC Hors les Murs program. Since 2019, Dià has been part of the permanent collection at the Chateau de Vullierens in Switzerland.
