Eye Hear

The work evokes, by amplifying the size and sound volume, the activity of human eyes. The soundtrack (recorded with microphones placed on the eyelids) is leveraging its ambiguity as if to emphasize that the eyes are intent in their «rumination of the world» (M. Merleau-Ponty), in a laborious and incessant sensible friction to perceive and reveal the reality that surrounds us.
