«The audio sculpture Untitled Yet has been realized for the exhibition Fruz 03 at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea of Monfalcone, this work wanted to be a form of iconographic representation of the state of my thoughts on sound art.
Now that this art form has been elected to a commercial and institutional level, entering in the system of private galleries and public museums, it has been cataloged, raised from the limbo in which persisted, but does not yet have a precise identity. I do not know really how to define the sound art, therefore I called the work Untitled Yet: I thought that it would be appropriate to represent it as an office documents’ folder box. […] Inside the box I have inserted a microphone connected to a mixer and headphones (the tools of any sound artist), thereby inviting the visitor to become a listener. For me sound art is nothing but an empty box, a folder of silence and a way to sharpen our awareness of the soundscape that surrounds us.»
